The meaning of Poetry
Carl Sandburg has described poetry in many different ways and in many different levels. His book on descriptions of poetry contains one certain answer , describing poetry as " a puppet-show, where riders of skyrockets and divers of sea fathoms gossip about the sixth sense and the fourth dimension". This shows how Sandburg believes that poetry can sway in multiple directions, and explore non-physical aspects of life and death and also queer and bizarre topics. I chose this definition because I agree that poems have the capability to be very peculiar and all are completely unique of each other.
